I've tried booking the same flight from zuji.com.sg but since it was $4 more expensive for the same flight, I decided to go with www.Asiatravel.com
Initially I got this shocking message, which I thought the flight will be confirmed the next day, however it was not true.

The next day, after I went to get some last minute shopping done, I got this email the next day.

We saw an attempt on your end to book a flight with www.asiatravel.com departing from Singapore to Colombo on 18 Sep but booking was disrupted as seats were taken up before you finalize your booking. =============================================================================So my flight was cancelled just 2 days before flying off, and I did not even receive a phone call to let me know the booking failed? I am really really disappointed in the service and all the other available flights are double the price.
Well I booked on zuji.com.sg and I managed to get tickets to arrive 2 days later, not so bad considering that I still have half a day to settle in.
I am not going to use Asiatravel.com anymore and if you are reading this, I would suggest you pay $4 more to use zuji.com.sg and trust me, instant confirmation is defiitely worth it.

This happened to me too.. im never booking with asiatravel.com again either.
Just got a similar incident. The webpage could not load finish during the confirmation page. There was no confirmation email or SMS sent to the mobile phone. Ended up booking more than once. It seems their booking system seems to lag or under heavy traffic and will result in lotsa misunderstanding.
Thanks for sharing your bad experience with Asiatravel. I also will never use that platform again. Somebody should put this company on a black list for e-commerce. They charge your credit card without permission. I tried to book a hotel, but the booking system from Asiatravel had technical problems and I got a message "sorry our booking system doesn't work - try it again later". I had to book the hotel room on the same day, so I decided to use another platform. 2 days later, when I arrived at the Manila Airport Hotel, they had 2 bookings - one from Asiatravel and one from the other platform. I told them, that the Asiatravel booking isn't valid. I checked my emails in the room and found an email from Asiatravel. They excused their technical problems and told me, that they charged my credit card. That was 2 days later and without my permission. I wrote them an email and described the situation, but got no answer. I thought everything is fine, but after my journey I got my credit card bill and saw that Asiatravel had charged me the money. Since October I am in contact with Asiatravel, but they don't really care about the situation. I just can warn everybody from using this platform. It was a really expensive stay at the Airport Hotel Manila - I paid twice. I talked to a lawyer and he told me, that this is illegal. My money is gone ...the only thing I can do is, to share this bad experience and warn everybody.
